Lakeland has many partners including the West Parry Sound Health Centre (WPSHC), Community Lifecare Inc., and Aramark.
West Parry Sound Health Centre
The WPSHC provides Lakeland with a number of purchased services, including meal preparation, laundry and maintenance services. The professional relationship between the WPSHC Director of Environmental Services and Lakeland's Administrator is key to ensuring the success of this close relationship. The dietary departments of both sites work closely together to ensure quality food services are provided to our residents.
Community Lifecare Inc.
Based in Pickering, Community Lifecare Inc. owns and operates a number of nursing homes and retirement homes in Southern Ontario. Community Lifecare provides Lakeland with the following services — financial, including accounts payable and receivable; payroll; policy and procedure manuals; consultation support to Lakeland's Administrator and Director of Nursing; quarterly nursing reviews; and labour relations support.
Aramark
Aramark is a contracting service for dietary, housekeeping, and environmental support. Lakeland's dietary servers and housekeepers are Aramark employees, as is the Manager of Support Services. Aramark staff are considered as much a part of Lakeland as anyone else who works in the home. Aramark plays a major role at Lakeland and all their staff do an excellent job. We are proud of their accomplishments and their obvious dedication to Lakeland.
