WPSHC is once again awarded Exemplary Accreditation Standing
Accreditation Canada awards WPSHC highest possible rating for the third time in a row.
A globally recognized leader in health system evaluation, Accreditation Canada, has awarded West Parry Sound Health Centre the highest possibly rating – Accredited with Exemplary Standing – under the Qmentum accreditation program, for the third time in a row.
The decision follows a comprehensive, onsite, visit in May, that saw a team of Accreditation Canada surveyors assess WPSHC according to 22 Priority Processes within the health centre. Using 2157 quality and safety standards, the survey team assessed every aspect of WPSHC operations. By meeting these standards, providers can be confident that the care they are providing is aligned with best practices in the health care field.
