Paramedics honoured for outstanding bravery
The provincial government has honoured two Parry Sound District EMS paramedics with the Ontario Award for Paramedic Bravery. This award is given to paramedics who have displayed exceptional acts of courage — performed on the job or off-duty — in the face of grave, personal danger.
Last week, Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, presented the awards to 13 paramedics in a ceremony at Queen’s Park.
