The 10th anniversary Georgian Bay, Walk, Run, Pole — Do It For Life was a spectacular event. No event has done more for local cardiac services than the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation’s Do It For Life.

Official launch of EHR project
West Parry Sound Health Centre’s electronic health records project has been officially launched. The kick-off celebration took place in the lobby on Tuesday 23 May.
The $10-million transformational project is the largest health care undertaking since construction ended here in 2005; and completely donor-driven, it’s the largest project ever undertaken by our Foundation.

Auxiliary celebrates 90 years of service to health care
It was promoted as a “season and a reason to celebrate” - spring fashion and the West Parry Sound Health Centre Auxiliary’s 90th anniversary. The hospital support organization has been in continuous operation since 1927 and shows no sign of slowing down.
The fashion show and birthday celebration was held at the Parry Sound Golf and Country Club on April 27.

Kawartha Credit Union - Friends of the Heart
The WPSHC Foundation’s Georgian Bay Walk, Run, Pole is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Over the nine years $628,351 has been raised by folks participating to keep cardiac care local.
Kawartha Credit Union has been a great friend of the Foundation long before the event began.
