We are proud to offer placement opportunities to a variety of students from post-secondary institutions across many of our departments.

Please note that before starting any student placement, specific documentation must be completed and submitted. A list of the required forms for each type of placements is included in below. Additionally, a current affiliation agreement between the WPSHC and your educational institution is necessary for all student placements.
Student Placements
The following documentation must be completed and submitted prior to the commencement of the placement:
- Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector Check
Please note: Must supply a recent Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector search prior to placement start date. - Education Placement Form
- Code of Conduct Agreement
- Confidentiality Agreement
- Immunization Record
- Proof of N95 Mask Fitting (as applicable)
- ID Badge/Parking Form for Students
- Proof of insurance coverage provided by educational institution
The following documentation must be completed and submitted prior to the commencement of the placement:
- EMS Release of Liability
- EMS Verification & Declaration of Immunity
- Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
Please note: Record check must have been completed less than 6 months prior to placement start date - Education Placement Form
- Code of Conduct Agreement
- Confidentiality Agreement
- Immunization Record
- Proof of N95 Mask Fitting

WPSHC offers job shadowing experiences to interested students.
Job shadowing provides learners with a better understanding of the health care environment and assists students in making career decisions through observational experience. Job shadowing is an opportunity to observe what it is like to live a day in the life of a health care professional.
Job shadowing is a non-paid, strictly observational experience that does not include any hands-on patient care. For job shadowing requests, please contact education@wpshc.com .

WPSHC provides ride-along opportunities in Emergency Medical Services.
EMS ride-alongs provide learners with the opportunity to observe what it is like to live a day in the life of a Primary Care Paramedic and are a non-paid, strictly observational experience that does not include hands-on patient care.
