Cathy Wismer

Vice Chair of the Board

Cathy is retired after a successful 40-year career in the general insurance field. She believes in giving back to the communities she has lived in or worked with.

Cathy contributed professionally to the insurance industry by teaching an accreditation course for the Insurance Institute of Ontario. She was also a member of the Women’s Association of Insurance of Canada (Hamilton Chapter) and served on the board of directors for the Canadian Claims Managers Association (Ontario Chapter).

She has also made significant contributions to her community, serving as a Scouts Canada leader with the 3rd Aldershot pack and as a board member of the Halton Crime Stoppers Association.
