Ambulatory Care refers to medical services that are provided to patients who do not require overnight hospitalization, our team also offers specialized clinics on a rotating basis, often with the oversight of visiting physicians.
These services are typically delivered on an outpatient basis, meaning patients can visit WPSHC, receive treatment, and return home the same day. Ambulatory care includes a wide range of services, such as routine check-ups, preventive care, minor surgeries, and specialized treatments for chronic conditions.

We strive to make access to renal care as seamless as possible locally, offering both treatment and support services in a convenient, outpatient setting.
Our team works closely with our Surgical Services to ensure that post-op and wound care patients receive the highest standard of care, to ensure their proper healing.
Hosting patients with healing challenges we ensure that their healing journey receives expert knowledge from our team of surgeons and wound care trained nurses.
Access to our Surgical and Wound Care Clinic requires a referral from your primary care team. We are proud to offer both treatment and support services in a convenient, outpatient setting.
Our team works closely with an orthopedic specialist to ensure that fracture patients who require casts or follow-up orthopedic services receive the highest standard of care, to ensure their proper healing.
Hosting physicians with expert knowledge, we do our best to provide access to care, dependant on locum availability as our team does not currently include a resident orthopedic surgeon.
Access to our Fracture Clinic requires a referral from your primary care team. We ask that patients be prepared to be referred elsewhere in our region at this point in time.
Our Ambulatory Care team may host a variety of other specialists for stand alone or ongoing clinics.

How do I get there?
From the Main Lobby (3rd floor entrance):
- Attend the Admitting Department on the left-hand side of the lobby to register as a patient.
- After completing your registration, pass through the doors on the right-hand side of the lobby (before to stairs descending to second floor).
- Immediately after exiting the doors, you will find the reception window to Ambulatory Care on your left.
